Interview with Philip

The Infusio Concept / About Us / Interview with Philip

Q: WHAT IS THE INFUSIO CONCEPT?

A: “The name Infusio represents our main form of treatment: Intravenous infusions. But for me, the ‘Infusio Concept’ means a fusion of main stream medicine with old and new methods practiced as ‘complementary’ medicine. Also, through our treatments, we infuse new life, strength and hope into our patients.”

Q: WHAT MADE YOU START INFUSIO?

A: “I was tired of seeing patients who were not able to find an answer to their problems. They were seeing many specialists, but somehow not finding resolution of their health issues. There was no way that all those doctors could be doing the wrong treatment. So, I was determined to find the flaw in the system and find a way to make people better.”

Q: IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT IS THE FLAW IN MODERN MEDICINE?

A: “I think part of the problem is specialization. This is a two-edged sword. On the one side it really helps a doctor develop advanced skills in his field. The other side is that each specialist only focuses his or her area of expertise and is limited in his possibilities to communicate and exchange ideas with other specialists seeing the same patient. So, in my opinion, the flaw in the system is not seeing the connections between the symptoms.”

Q: WHAT ELSE IS DIFFERENT?

A: “I do not have a typical medical office. My Infusio treatment centers are styled more like a spa. I feel this helps to prevent bringing up traumatic associations patients have from past doctors visits. I also take my time; there is no feeling of being rushed in and out. Also, I don’t have an office with a desk, but I sit with my patients so that I can talk with them on the same level. All of these are contributing factors to successful healing.”

Q: SO, WHAT IS THE SECRET TO YOUR SUCCESS?

A: “It is certainly not that I have any new or special knowledge that others don’t have. It lays more in the application of this knowledge. When I do bodywork, it is about feeling the connectives and adjusting these. When I do medicine, it is the same: The connectives are the key. Seeing how one thing can lead to the next, working out why a specific symptom should be prominent, and looking at the connectives to lead me to the root cause. In addition to that, I put my patient in a comfortable environment and help them relax while I treat them. This, in my opinion is the key to the success of Infusio.”
